Ten competitions, The Wine Edition and The Drinks Show
Besides the main auditorium, Madrid Fusión will have much more content. The major international gastronomy event will again be streamed live to be viewed from anywhere in the world, and it will also feature educational sections. A new round of WE, the 3rd Madrid Fusión The Wine Edition, a congress on the world of wine in a bid to discover new trends and new talents, and act as a forum for discussion and learning from a sector which is an essential component of our culture and our gastronomy. MF The Wine Edition has a major offer of a live experience, with in situ tasting, activities for participation, and more space than ever.
The auditorium will be used by sommeliers, producers, catalysts and key thinkers in the sector, to create a full agenda of talks, round tables, combination tasting sessions and presentations. The second scenario, the Tasting Room, will be an open space in the sampling area where wineries and regions can present historic tastings of the world's best-known wines, along with gastronomic harmonies, new wine projects and tendencies.
The 6th Drinks Show will again act as a liquid cutting-edge for the senses, amid talks, master classes and tasting sessions with the best national and international bartenders around today.
The three-day event will also feature ten competitions to gauge today's culinary levels, including "Revelation Chef". This time eight talented young chefs with their own projects are up for the award. And congress-goers will also be enjoying the 2nd Madrid Fusión Pastry, the event's breadmaking and cakemaking congress. Madrid Fusión Pastry 2023 will likewise be used to announce the winner of the next Revelation Cakemaker award. The fifth round of this competition once more highlights the originality and technical perfection applied by the new intake of national cakemakers in their respective work places, restaurants and baking facilities.
In spite of the difficulties encountered and the need to adapt during this phase, the gastronomy summit has expanded constantly since it was created. The last event - in March - broke all records: participation, congress-goers and accredited press representatives.
