Juan Luis Garci´a Ruiz, sommelier at Casa Marcial** in Asturias, will be taking us on a trip through the four styles of cider approved by the Asturias Cider Denomination of Origin Regulating Council, from natural cider to new expressions of cider, and ciders produced using the two methods permitted, Granvas or Charmat and Champenoise. 

With respect to wine, García Ruiz has chosen two reds and two whites as representatives of modern winemaking in the Cangas region. This is a bid to convey Asturias through 4 ciders and 4 wines with a lot to say for themselves.
